Fresno 11, Padres 6

• Highlight: The Grizzlies (6-5) scored seven runs in the final two innings Sunday to take the series in front of 1,413 fans at Kino Stadium. Brandon Allen - the 3-7 Padres' new everyday first baseman after Kyle Blanks was promoted Sunday - hit a three-run homer to give Tucson a two-run lead in the third. After Fresno took a 4-3 lead in the fifth, Jonathan Galvez crushed a two-run home run over the left field wall to give Tucson the advantage. That lasted until the final two innings, when Fresno posted seven runs on seven hits.

• Big Number: 2 - Grizzlies third baseman Juan Perez hit two home runs - a solo shot against Nick Vincent in the eighth and a three-run shot against Brandon Kloess in the ninth - sandwiched around a great stab of Daniel Robertson's liner.

• Tonight's starters: RHP Chris Heston, Fresno (2-0, 4.50 ERA); RHP Matt Jackson, Tucson (0-0, 0.00 ERA)
