The Arizona Wildcats have added a Dec. 9 home game with Utah Valley to complete their nonconference 2014-15 men’s basketball schedule.
The Wildcats will open their season on Nov. 14 against Mount St. Mary’s and will play a total of eight home nonconference games, including two that are part of multiyear series, against Gonzaga and Michigan.
They will also travel to play in the Maui Invitational and in road games at UTEP and UNLV. The other teams in Maui will be BYU, Kansas State, Missouri, Pittsburgh, Purdue and San Diego State and host Chaminade.
“In addition to what will be a very challenging Maui Invitational, we have multiple marquee home games and two difficult true road games on the schedule,” UA coach Sean Miller said in a statement. “Our players and staff are ready to work hard this summer to prepare for the challenges that lie ahead.”
