Mark Lyons, the Xavier transfer who averaged 15.6 points last year in his only season with the Arizona Wildcats, will play for the Toronto Raptors' NBA Summer League team.

The 24-year-old New York native practiced with Toronto for the first time today. The Raptors begin summer league play Saturday against Miami in Las Vegas.

The 6-foot-1 Lyons is one of four small guards on the roster, alongside Wisconsin alum Jordan Taylor, Massachusetts grad Ricky Harris and Coppin State's Tywain McKee. All spent time overseas last year.
