Construction crews continued to work Wednesday on McKale Center’s offseason renovation. The $30 million project is aimed at both fans and players. Crews will install 14,545 new seats and upgrade concession stands and bathrooms along the concourse, while the Wildcats’ basketball and volleyball teams will get new locker rooms. The revamped facility will reopen on Nov. 14, in time for the UA men’s basketball team’s home opener.
