Utah erased a five-point halftime deficit with a 14-2 run to start the second half and went on to beat the Arizona women’s basketball team 52-47 at McKale Center on Friday night.

UA (5-21, 1-14) led 25-20 at halftime but could manage just six points in the first 12 minutes of the second half.

Breanna Workman led Arizona with 14 points while LaBrittney Jones added 10 points and eight rebounds. The Utes (11-15, 4-11) shot 50 percent in the win and held Arizona to 36.2 percent.

The Wildcats host Colorado at 3 p.m. Sunday in their final home game of the season.
