Shakir Smith has found a school.

The former Tucson High guard committed to Wyoming this morning after officially visiting the school this weekend.

Smith, a first-team All-Southern Arizona pick by the Star, had offers from junior colleges and Division II schools after his senior season, but decided to play AAU basketball this summer in hopes of landing a bigger offer.

After having a strong summer with the Compton (Calif.) Magic, Smith starting getting offers and didn't waste anytime committing to Wyoming.

The six-foot guard averaged 22.8 points per game last season for the Badgers.
