The UA has added yet another quarterback to the mix for 2012.

B.J. Denker, a quarterback from Cerritos College, has committed for the fall. He's expected to enroll over the summer and be on the roster when training camp starts in August. Denker first announced his decision on Twitter, declaring "I'm officially an Arizona Wildcat! Pac-12 baby!"

Denker will have two years to play two seasons. He cannot redshirt once at Arizona.

Denker first made headlines at North Torrance (Calif.) High School, passing for 2,800 yards and 28 touchdowns while rushing for 900 yards and nine touchdowns as a senior. He was named first-team All-CIF, first team all-league and was voted his team's most valuable player.

Denker served as Cerritos College's backup in 2009 and redshirted in 2010. Given a chance to play last fall, he shined: Denker completed 160 of 286 passes for 2,319 yards and 31 touchdowns and ran 92 times for 586 yards and seven scores.

The addition of Denker means Arizona will have seven quarterbacks on its roster in the fall. Starter Matt Scott, Denker, freshmen Javelle Allen and Josh Kern and converted wide receiver Richard Morrison are all on scholarship; walk-ons Tyler D'Amore and Alex Cappellini will also compete for playing time.
