The AIA released the most recent seedings today with the playoffs just a couple of weeks away.

Teams still have two games to improve their resumes, so plenty can change. But, let's take a look at where local teams stand now with the playoffs approaching.

In Division I, Sierra Vista Buena is sitting at No. 14 and the only local team that would be in the postseason. Tucson High, despite a win over Canyon del Oro, didn't move and remains at No. 17. Sunnyside, after losing by one point to Yuma Cibola, dropped to No. 19

In Division II, Ironwood Ridge remained at No. 1. Salpointe Catholic is No. 5 after its win over Nogales. Other local D-II teams in the top 16 include Mountain View (10) and Sahuaro (16).

Like Ironwood Ridge, Sabino is also No. 1, claiming the top spot for Division III. Sahuarita (5) and Nogales (14) are also in the top 16.

Empire and Walden Grove would both qualify for the Division IV playoffs if they began today. Empire is currently seeded No. 9 and Walden Grove is No. 13.

Pusch Ridge Christian, at No. 21, is trying to fight its way into the playoff picture in Division V.
