It’s the last week of the regular season for soccer teams. Some already know they’ll be playing into next month but others aren’t quite sure.

Here’s a look at this week’s games involving teams in the race to get into the state tournament:

Division I

No. 13 Tucson: The Badgers travel to Sunnyside today and play at Mountain View on Wednesday. Winning both games should lock up a spot for the Badgers; splitting them might not be so certain.

No. 16 Rincon/University: The Rangers definitely need to win their final two games to stay in the picture. They host Sabino today and play at Sahuaro on Wednesday. Assuming Rincon wins both of those games, it should hold on for the last spot.

No. 20 Desert View: The Jaguars have won three straight games to move onto the bubble but even if they win their last two games (today at Marana, Thursday vs. Nogales), a lot would have to happen for them to move up four spots to No. 16.

No. 5 Mountain View: The Mountain Lions are basically a lock to make the state tournament but they close out with two tough games that could help or hurt their seeding. Mountain View plays at top-ranked Phoenix Pinnacle today and hosts Ironwood Ridge on Thursday.

No. 17 Sierra Vista Buena: The Colts have to win at Tucson today, beat Sunnyside on Thursday and hope for someone else in the top 16 to lose.

Division II

No. 2 Salpointe Catholic: The Lancers travel to Sierra Vista Buena on Wednesday for one last tune-up before they defend their title.

No. 10 Catalina Foothills: The Falcons have a pair of home games against Sahuaro and Sabino and if they win at least one of those, should be a lock to get in.

No. 15. Canyon del Oro: The Dorados have three games in three days starting with rival Ironwood Ridge today. Going at least 2-1 should keep them in the top 16.

No. 16 Nogales: The Apaches need to beat Rio Rico at home today, win on the road at Desert View on Thursday and hope no one jumps them in the rankings.

No. 18. Ironwood Ridge: If the Nighthawks beat CDO again tonight, it could really shuffle the rankings and put them in the top 16, ahead of Nogales. If they lose tonight, their season will likely end Thursday after they host Mountain View.

No. 1 Catalina Foothills: The three-time defending state champion Falcons are definitely going to the state tournament. Before that, they have three road games in the next three days against Sahuaro, Salpointe and Sabino.

No. 3 Sahuaro: The Cougars will also be playing next week and — by beating Foothills today and Rincon/University on Thursday — could stay in the top four and lock up a hosting seed.

No. 5 Ironwood Ridge: The Nighthawks host Canyon del Oro today and travel to Mountain View on Thursday. Winning both games could also give them a chance to host in the first round.

No. 8 Sahuarita: The Mustangs have road games against Flowing Wells and Pueblo close out the regular season. Regardless of the outcomes, they should plan on playing next week.

No. 11 Sabino: The Sabercats seem to be in line for a postseason berth and at least one win this week should secure it. They host Rincon today and Foothills on Thursday.

No. 14 Marana: The Tigers are at Desert View today and host CDO on Wednesday. Winning both games should lock them in but a split would make it interesting.

Division II

No. 4 Douglas: The Bulldogs need to beat Santa Rita twice this week. If they do, they should be a solid bet to host.

No. 7 Palo Verde: Wins over Catalina and Empire today could improve their chances of hosting next week but either way, the Titans appear to be a lock for the state tournament.

No. 12 Rio Rico: The Hawks have won four straight games but have a tough test against Nogales – who also needs a win – tonight. A loss there should be fatal, but it would make Thursday’s game against Amphitheater a must-win.

No. 17 Amphitheater: The Panthers must win at Pusch Ridge Christian today and at Rio Rico on Thursday and then hope for some outside help.

No. 19 Catalina: The Trojans can really help themselves with a win at Palo Verde today but need to beat Tanque Verde on Thursday and also hope for a lot of outside help.

No. 3 Palo Verde: The Titans are heading back to the state tournament again but need to win at Catalina and Empire this week to ensure they’ll be a host team.

No. 7 Catalina: The Trojans could make a big just if they beat Palo Verde today and then if they were to win again at Tanque Verde on Thursday they might find themselves in a position to host.

No. 10 Pusch Ridge: The Lions are in a comfortable spot but could only improve their position if they beat Amphitheater today and Canyon del Oro on Thursday.

No. 19 Empire: The Ravens must win at Cholla today and against Palo Verde on Wednesday to stay in the hunt. Then they’ll have to hope for a lot of outside help.
