The volleyball seedings are updated once a week by the AIA, just like football's seedings. With most teams having played are 12 matches, it's a good time to check in and see where Southern Arizona teams sit.

This hasn't been the best year for local squads.

Tucson is the highest ranked local team in Division I at No. 13. Rincon/University is one spot behind at No. 14. Both teams would play on the road.

If the playoffs began today, there would be no home matches in Division II either. Ironwood Ridge is the highest ranked local team and is No. 9. Salpointe Catholic is next at No. 11, Catalina Foothills is one spot behind at No. 12 and Sahuaro would just make the cut at No. 16.

Only one team is in the current playoff picture for Division III. Sahuarita is sitting at No. 7 and would host a home match. The next highest ranked team is Empire at No. 18.
