Arizona Wildcats kicker John Bonano was named Pac-12 Special Teams Player of the Week today, two days after making three field goals and five extra points in an upset home win against No. 18 Oklahoma State.
For the second-straight week, the offensive honor went to UCLA running back Johnathan Franklin. The senior leads the nation in rushing after galloping for a career-best 217 yards in a win against No. 16 Nebraska. Franklin also caught three passes for 59 yards.
The defensive award went to Oregon State's D.J. Welch. The linebacker had seven tackles, two for loss, in a win against No. 13 Wisconsin.
The Wildcats have now won two awards in as many weeks. Linebacker Jake Fischer was named the league's top defender after Week 1.
