--Anthony Contreras was originally in the lineup as the designated hitter, but was removed because he's still banged up from fouling a ball of himself in Tuesday's game. Belnome went from second to DH and Zazueta took Belnome's spot at second.

--Everth Cabrera remained out of the lineup with a stiff back. Manager Terry Kennedy said Cabrera visited a doctor today and is improving. He's still hopeful Cabrera will return to the lineup soon. Kennedy's options on the bench are limited with Cabrera out and Contreras now banged up.

--Catcher Rocky Gale was officially added to Tucson's roster and will serve as Brad Davis' backup with Yasmani Grandal on the disabled list. Gale came from Class-A Lake Elsinore and spent a few games with Tucson last season. With Grandal out, Kennedy said Davis is the primary catcher.

--With the team struggling and Kennedy frustrated with some plays in the field recently, the team took early infield today before batting practice. Kennedy's hopeful his club's play become crisper after a rocky start.
