I asked Sean Miller what’s struck him about Stanford as a concern since Arizona faced the Cardinal a month ago.

“Dwight Powell,” he said without hesitating. “He does a lot for their team. He leads their team in assists (3.7 per game), plays defense, is physical. He’s a senior and you can tell he’s playing with a lot at stake and wants to finish up strong.

"Same thing about (forward Josh) Huestis, those are a heck of a 1-2 punch, those two senior forwards. (Guard) Chasson Randle and Anthony Brown on the perimeter are shooting the ball lately as well.”

Randle has only shot a collective 23.8 percent over three games against Arizona but that didn’t make Miller feel any better.

“You know as well as I do that doesn’t mean anything now,” Miller said. “He’s a really good player, their leading scorer. He’s made 10 threes in their last four games and so has Brown. Those two guys are really playing well.”
