Five-star forward Aaron Gordon is scheduled to announce his college choice Tuesday during the McDonalds All-American media day at the United Center, Gordon’s high school coach said today.

Archbishop Mitty High School coach Tim Kennedy said Gordon has made up his mind between Arizona, Washington, Oregon and Kentucky.

“I think he was pretty much certain" a while ago, Kennedy said. “But he wanted to wait to make sure he could get that comfort level with his decision.”

Kennedy said that Gordon is not concerned about what players are leaving from his finalists – UA is expected to be loaded with forwards next season – because he is confident he can help whatever team he chooses.

Gordon’s Mitty team reached the California Open Division finals where it lost to UA target Stanley Johnson and Mater Dei High School.

Gordon had 22 points and 20 rebounds in the final while Kennedy said he averaged 21.6 points 15.7 rebounds 3.3 assist 2.1 blocks over the course of the season while playing virtually everywhere on the floor.

“He’s almost a point-post,” Kennedy said.

Oregon has been going all-out in an effort to land Gordon, after he added them in the middle of this season.

Several ESPN analysts predict that Arizona will get Gordon. (link here but ESPN Insider access required).
