Not surprisingly, former Arizona Wildcats forward Aaron Gordon will not participate in the drills at the NBA combine this week in Chicago, according to his agent's spokeswoman.

Players projected at the top of the NBA draft often don't participate in the drills but instead only allow their measurements to be taken, as Gordon will.

Nick Johnson, however, is scheduled to participate fully this week and could gain some ground with his athleticism. He's projected as a mid-second-round pick by Draft Express.

ESPNU and ESPN2 are planning to cover the combine from 7 a.m. to noon Arizona/Pacific time on both Thursday and Friday. We'll also have updates here.

Ben Howland has reportedly pulled out of the OSU job search, which could leave the door open for UA assistant Damon Stoudamire. Jeff Eisenberg says Howland made a good move.
