Apparently, Arizona Wildcats freshman Aaron Gordon does take it easy once in a while -- and we're glad to see how he did so today.

Our 64-page college basketball section, featuring an animated cover of Gordon, went out today inside the Sunday edition. It can also be bought separately.

It's not available online now but we'll have an e-edition posted next Sunday, as we did with our football section.

San Diego State is putting together what looks like its best-ever recruiting class, now that the Aztecs have received a commitment from Phoenix forward Zylan Cheatham.

Augustana (S.D.) College, UA's exhibition opponent Monday, is ranked No. 22 in a preseason Division II poll.

The Vikings return four of five starters from a 22-9 team last season but three key players are out, including wing Alex Richter, who caught his thumb in an opponent’s jersey during a summer league game -- and ripped his shoulder apart.

“It was a completely freaky injury,” Augustana coach Tom Billeter said. “We’re in a weird situation. We do have two starters back but the rest of our kids are freshmen and sophomores.”

We had a few words from Gabe York and T.J. McConnell in today's editions if you missed it. There's also a photo gallery of top Pac-12 players.
