The Arizona Wildcats could be in for some signing-week drama this time around.

Stanley Johnson, the top 2014 wing target that the Wildcats have been chasing for several years, will announce his college decision on Friday.

ESPN's PR department also said it will televise the announcement (scroll down to the bottom of this release), saying Johnson will decide between Kentucky, USC or Arizona. The Wildcats have been considered the leader for Johnson, with USC making a late push under new coach Andy Enfield.

Johnson has previously said he would not make an announcement but is now expected to join several other high-profile prospects in making their announcement under the glare of the ESPN spotlight.

The Wildcats already have commitments from guards Parker Jackson-Cartwright and Kadeem Allen, as well as forward Craig Victor. UA coach Sean Miller said Tuesday he expected to sign a total of "four or five" players in the 2014 class.

Justise Winslow, another top 2014 UA target, also may make a decision this week.

UA has three openings for scholarships as of now for 2014-15 but that number is almost irrelevant because the Wildcats are expecting multiple early departures in the spring.

James Whitford picked up his first win as a head coach at Ball State.

San Diego State formally announced plans for a basketball practice facility on Tuesday.
