Daniel Bejarano did not make the trip because of significant flu-like symptoms, according to team spokesman Richard Paige.

Dondre Wise also did not make the trip due to dental surgery earlier this week.

Paige said Bejarano had a temperature over 100 when the team left Tucson on Wednesday and that trainer Justin Kokoskie felt it was best for him not to fly. Bejarano may join the team in Pullman for Saturday's UA-WSU game if he feels well enough, Paige said.

Bejarano's mother, Barbara Butler, said her son told her Wednesday morning he wasn't feeling well and that she advised him to tell assistant coach James Whitford and get evaluated.

A freshman from Phoenix North High School, Bejarano has played in eight games so far this season, averaging 0.8 points.
