After meeting with Sean Miller, Arizona AD Greg http://twitter.com/#!/Greg_Byrne/status/48067491108368386" target= "_blank">Byrne put out a statement via Twitter intended to stop any specuation about him listening to N.C. State.
"Sean Miller & I have had good talks. He has zero interest in any job openings. We will have no further comment. Let's go beat Memphis!" Byrne posted.
Byrne verified the tweet when I called him but wouldn't say if he and Miller have discussed the seven-year agreement Miller received in 2009, which called for a two-year extension this spring to what was originally just a five-year contract (Jim Livengood's way of working around the five-year max contract rule mandated by the Board of Regents).
"Nothing else beyond that right now," Byrne said.
Miller makes $2 million per year from Arizona, IMG and Nike, plus incentives.
