-- Miller was emotional in speaking about Kevin Parrom, a player he has known longer than any other Wildcat.

"I can't even really talk about Kevin," Sean Miller said. "We wouldn't have won the game without him. He's just such a great warrior, such a great kid. He's been through more than any person deserves to go through, and to watch him to respond and get welcomed the way he did, take a charge, get rebounds.... We're so much better of a team with Kevin but that's not even the story."

-- Miller said Josiah Turner's DNP was not a suspension per se, but his statements indicated it about was more than just his performance on the floor.

"He's just trying to find his way from where he left high school as a true freshman, the adjustment of being in college on and off the court, making decisions, working hard every day," Miller said. "Sometimes very, very early in someone's career if they don't play, it's a feeling they haven't had before. I hope we can get him in the fold."

He later added: "We care a lot about Josiah. We're trying to help him and hopefully he can help himself and keep working and get back out there."
