LOS ANGELES -- The Wildcats have no reason to complain about the way their Pac-12 Tournament path is breaking, do they?

They will wear the white jerseys of the highest seeded team today for the third time, and are getting to face Oregon State and Colorado after each of those teams played an extra game.

Jared Cunningham said the Beavers became winded Friday in their third game in three days so you wonder if the same thing could happen to Colorado today in its fourth game in four days...

...although Tad Boyle says the Buffs have found their heart and, maybe, the high-altitude Buffs are enjoying life at sea level inside the Staples Center.

Some other links before the Pac-12 final today at 4:10 p.m. MT:

Joe Lunardi popped Arizona back in his ESPN projection in the most favorable possible spot for the Wildcats -- in Albuquerque as a No. 13 seed, with a chance to advance to Phoenix for the West regionals.

Jerry Palm of CBS has Arizona as a No. 13 in Portland, feeding into the South regionals.

Dick Vitale is among those believing that the only sure thing out of the Pac-12 is the winner of today's game.

The Seattle Times' Percy Allen has a breakdown of other projections, some of which no longer include the Huskies.

Arizona has been installed as a 3.5-point favorite over the Buffaloes.

At this point, the Wildcats are used to dealing with adversity. The UA veterans are carrying them.

All of our coverage today is on our Wildcats web page.

Here's official notes from Arizona and from Colorado.

The Bears may be a little nervous, but coach Mike Montgomery is confident they will be in the NCAA tournament field.

George Schroeder of the Register-Guard wonders if Dana Altman will answer the phone when Nebraska calls.

The Staples Center has been so vacant this week that it's been hard to find enough couples for the "kiss cam."

Jeff Goodman says former UA assistant and OSU head coach Jay John of Cal could be a candidate at NAU, along with ASU assistant Scott Pera.
