As pointed out by Beth and Tracy on a http://dynamic.azstarnet.com/comments/viewcomments.php?id=/sports/blogs/pascoe/article_3d0d8ba4-f5f8-11e0-8f9e-001cc4c002e0.html&h=On%20Wildcats'%20Red-Blue%20tickets%20and%20other%20notes" target="_blank">previous discussion thread, UA sold http://my.groupon.com/deals/gl-university-of-arizona-basketball" target="_blank">Red-Blue Game tickets through Groupon last week and the website said 1,900 people bought them.

The tickets were priced at 2 for $8, a savings of $6 total over the advance retail price and $12 over the walk-up price for two tickets. However, it was $1 more per ticket than the price offered if bought in conjunction with UCLA football game tickets through UA.

Heavy promotion, last season's Elite Eight finish and appearances by NBA ex-Wildcats should result in Arizona drawing greater than the 10,000 or so that attended last season (UA announced a crowd of 10,657). UA said last week over 8,000 tickets have been sold.

UA spokesman Richard Paige confirmed that Jason Terry is scheduled to attend the festivities also.
