Just a few notes and links of possible interest...

While taking the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, Nick Johnson challenged T.J. McConnell, Damon Stoudamire and "future Arizona Wildcat Ivan Rabb."

Maybe Johnson knows something about his fellow former Oakland Soldier than the rest of us...but Rabb has kept his recruitment fairly close to the vest and it's still unknown if he'll take an official visit for the Red-Blue Game as UA appears to be hoping for.

Johnson (he actually gets dunked on in this video) accepted a challenge from Sean Miller, who was dunked on over the weekend.

Maybe Oregon coach Dana Altman will fill up that Ducks roster after all. Even though Oregon was decimated by dismissals earlier this summer, the Ducks received a commitment from Findlay Prep wing Dillon Brooks -- a four-star 2015 prospect who has opted to reclassify for 2014 so he can suit up for the Ducks immediately.

The Ducks not only dismissed three players in June in the wake of rape allegations but lost recruit Ray Kasongo when he was not admitted to school and still don't have a clearance for JaQuan Lyle.

UCLA landed a commitment from four-star 2015 point guard Prince Ali, who had decommitted from Connecticut.

Fendi Onobun hurt his knee at a Jaguars practice.

And, speaking of converted basketball players, Johnathan Loyd is convinced he has a role on the Oregon football team with offense and special teams after four years of hoops with the Ducks.
