Arizona moved up one spot to No. 6 in AP Top 25 poll today.

Duke was ranked No. 1, followed by Michigan, while Kansas and Syracuse tied for third and Louisville was fifth.

Oregon moved up to No. 16 after its sweep of USC and UCLA while the Bruins dropped out.

Arizona nominated Mark Lyons for the Pac-12 Player of the Week, which should be announced later today.

In UA's 71-54 win over ASU on Saturday, Lyons scored 24 points, with three rebounds, three assists (four turnovers) and three steals while shooting 53.3 percent and hitting all six free throws he took in UA’s 71-54 win at ASU.

No UA player won the Pac-12's weekly award yet over the 10 previous times it has been awarded.

Arizona has designated Thursday’s game against UCLA as its “white-out” game and, if history is any indication, the game will go down to the wire.

The Wildcats are 1-1 in their two previous white out games, in which fans are asked to wear white, having beaten Washington 87-86 in 2010-11 thanks to Derrick Williams’ game-saving block and losing to the Huskies last season 69-67 when Tony Wroten blocked a last-second layup by Josiah Turner.
