Arizona's preseason competition should get tougher on Tuesday in an exhibition game with Division II Chico State.

The Wildcats of Northern California return 13 players from a 25-win season and are ranked No. 18 in the D-2 preseason poll. They are picked to win their conference, while Humboldt State (UA's last opponent) was picked fourth.

Chico State lost by only six points at Pacific on Sunday.

The game is scheduled to be streamed on the Pac-12's website (the last time this season a UA game will be free online).

UA has posted its official game notes for Tuesday's exhibition.

The San Jose Mercury News has a good look at the recruiting pressure Aaron Gordon has been under, and suggests the Mitty High School star remains pretty undecided.

Gordon is scheduled to take his final official recruiting visit to Kentucky this weekend.

Former UA aide Jack Murphy made a media tour of Phoenix, and the Associated Press' John Marshall wrote this profile of him. Murphy says he wants to get into the Big Sky Tournament and see what happens.

Justise Winslow took a visit to Florida.

Onetime UA player Jeff Withey wants to be the Big 12's player of the year as a senior at Kansas this season.

There's a few names of interest, such as former Wildcat guard Zane Johnson and ex-ASU player Serge Angounou, on Ed Odeven's list of import players in Japan this season (BTW anyone remember Rick Rickert?)...

-- A few of you addressed the DirecTV/Pac-12 Networks situation on the previous discussion thread. As it stands now, anyone with DirecTV will miss at least 11 UA basketball games this season.
