The Arizona Wildcats were ranked No. 12 in the preseason Associated Press media poll released today.

The poll reflects the expected tight Pac-12 race with UCLA, which was picked No. 13.

In the other major preseason poll, the ESPN/USA Today coaches' poll, the Wildcats were picked 11th and UCLA was picked 13th.

No other Pac-12 teams were selected in the AP poll, though Stanford received two votes. Another UA opponent, Oral Roberts, received a vote.

The only other team on UA's schedule in the Top 25 is Florida, at No. 10. The Gators will visit McKale Center on Dec. 15.
