Former Arizona Wildcats fullback Taimi Tutogi will get his shot at the NFL--in fact he may get a couple of shots.

Tutogi has been invited to rookie mini-camp with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, which begins Friday. He'll have three days to prove himself and earn a rookie free-agent contract.

"I have to beat out the other fullback they're bringing in, so I have to be the best," Tutogi said in a text.

If it doesn't work out for the fullback, he will head to rookie camp with the New Orleans Saints the following weekend.

Tutogi also received an invite to the New York Jets mini-camp, but it's scheduled as the same weekend as New Orleans'. The Chula Vista, Calif., native said he picked the Saints over the Jets because he thought it was a better fit.

Tutogi is one of four former Wildcats who will be in a rookie mini-camp this offseason. Quarterback Matt Scott signed a free agent deal with Jacksonville. Wide receiver Dan Buckner signed with the Arizona Cardinals and center Kyle Quinn will get his chance with the Philadelphia Eagles.
