The Arizona Wildcats are Texas-bound--in five years.

The UA this morning announced a home-and-home series with the Houston Cougars beginning in 2017. The first game will be played at Arizona Stadium. In 2018, the teams will meet in Houston.

The 2017 game will mark the first time the two schools have played since 1986. The UA won that game on its home field 37-3 to even the all-time series at one win apiece.

Houston won the first-ever game between the two schools in Tucson in 1969.

The 2018 game will mark Arizona's first time traveling to Houston's Robertson Stadium.

The 2018 schedule is filling up. The Wildcats have previously agreed to a home-in-home series with UTEP in 2017 and 2018. The UA will also play BYU at Arizona Stadium in 2018. Earlier this spring, Arizona announced a three-game series with BYU in 2016, 2018 and 2020.
