The Arizona Wildcats are on the board for 2015.

The UA got its first commitment for 2015 this morning when Gilbert Campo Verde defensive tackle Finton Connolly pledged to the UA.

Connolly is currently on an unofficial visit to the UA for the Wildcats' game against Oregon.

Connolly is listed at 6-feet-3-inches and 255 pounds and was drawing interest from Arizona State, BYU and others. Arizona was his only offer at the time of his commitment.

Connolly had 90 tackles and five sacks for Campo Verde this season, according to his MaxPreps stats.

The defensive tackle is one of 15 unofficial visitors on the UA's campus this weekend.

Connolly's commitment continues a trend of Arizona nailing down its in-state recruiting base. Of its 27 commitments for 2014, eight are from Arizona and now the first one from 2015 is also an in-state commit.
