The Arizona Wildcats are staying busy on the recruiting trail.

The UA received a commitment this morning from tight end Ricky McCoy, a product of Roosevelt High School in Fresno, Calif. It's the Wildcats' second commitment in three days following a pledge from Mesa Desert Edge running back Taren Morrison on Thursday.

Arizona now has three commitments for the 2015 class. McCoy and Morrison are joined by defensive tackle Finton Connolly, who committed in November.

McCoy is rated as a three-star prospect by the Scout.com recruiting service and is listed at 6-feet-4-inches and 240 pounds. He also had an offer from Washington.

The tight end's commitment is no surprise. He's visiting Arizona this weekend on an unofficial trip and hinted to Scout last month that a pledge was coming.

"Arizona has shown me the most love throughout the entire recruiting process so far and that means a lot," McCoy told Scout. "I also have some buddies that are from around here that are going there, so that is good."

McCoy was being recruited as a defensive end by some schools, but is expected to play tight end for the Wildcats. However, UA coach Rich Rodriguez has said in the past he's not against playing guys both ways if they're capable.
