Arizona Wildcats juniors Brandon Dixon and Johnny Field and freshman Kevin Newman were named to the 25-man Pac-12 all-conference team announced this afternoon.

It's the second straight year Field, the team's starting center fielder, has been named to the team. It's a first-time honor for Dixon and Newman. Sophomore second baseman Trent Gilbert was an honorable mention pick.

Dixon, who led the conference in hitting at .369, was beaten out by Oregon State's Michael Conforto for Pac-12 Player of the Year. Dixon still had a memorable junior season, starting all 55 games and hitting six home runs and posting 51 RBIs. The junior from Murrieta, Calif., also stole 30 bases and scored 57 runs.

Field and Newman also started all 55 games. Field batted .347 with five home runs, 39 RBIs and 58 runs scored. Newman, the team's starting shortstop, batted .336 with 42 RBIs.

UCLA's David Berg was named the league's Pitcher of the Year. His teammate, Pat Valaika was the Defensive Player of the Year and Oregon State's Andrew Moore beat out Newman for Freshman of the Year. 

OSU's Pat Casey was named Coach of the Year.
