Former Arizona Wildcats basketball player Jesse Perry’s domestic violence case has been continued to Aug. 2, his attorney said today.

Perry faces three felony domestic violence charges in Pima County Superior Court.

He was present at a case management conference Thursday in which he did not object to the state’s motion to continue.

“Jesse and I are looking forward to the hearing," his attorney, Michael Harwin, said.

Perry was charged with domestic violence aggravated assault after the victim initially declined to discuss the matter with police.

The victim later testified that Perry choked her repeatedly during an April 20 argument at Perry’s apartment complex.

He pled not guilty last month.
