The University of Arizona club rugby team’s wild ride to the Division II championship game ended today with a 64-13 loss to Central Florida in Stanford, Calif.

The Wildcats led 8-3 early before UCF, which also won the title last year, went on a 47-0 run to go up 55-8. Arizona had advanced to the title game with a 45-22 win over Bowling Green in the semifinals Saturday.

The Cats said they were honoring former coach Dave Sitton with the run to their first Final Four. Sitton, who spent 35 years building the program, passed away in August of 2013.
