B+ Nick Foles was himself again, a week after struggling against Stanford in his return from a dislocated right kneecap. He completed 32 of 48 passes for 353 yards and three TDs despite playing without wideouts Bug Wright and David Roberts. His only blemish: A first-quarter fumble on a sack that led to a USC score.

Running backs

C- Keola Antolin gained 38 yards on 10 carries on a night when the UA focused on the pass. Greg Nwoko ran three times for 12 yards in place of Nicolas Grigsby.

Wide receivers

B+ Terrence Miller played the best game of his life, catching seven passes for 116 yards. Juron Criner (6 catches, 98 yards) played with a sprained ankle, while David Douglas accounted for two of the UA's three touchdowns.

Offensive line

B- The O-line kept Foles upright for the most part, allowing just two sacks to an aggressive USC defense. But Arizona's inability to run was a problem, and a main reason why the Trojans' controlled the clock.

Front 7

C- For the second straight week, the UA didn't have a sack. Paul Vassallo finished with eight tackles, tied for the team lead.

C- Adam Hall had the lone turnover, a third-quarter interception. The rest of the secondary struggled, though it seemed to improve as the game went on.

Special teams

C- Another weird night for special teams. Kicker Alex Zendejas missed a field goal on the first possession, and the field goal defense team was duped by an ingenious fake.
