Davonte Neal, the nation's best unsigned football recruit, will not visit Tucson this weekend as originally planned, according to the Arizona Republic.

The Republic reported today that Luke Neal, the Scottsdale Chaparral High School receiver/cornerback's father, said his son would stay home because of a family matter.

Neal will announce Feb. 21 his choice of school between Arizona, Arkansas, Notre Dame and North Carolina.

The Wildcats present a familiar option.

The UA hired his high school coach, Charlie Ragle, as its liaison to in-state recruits. The Wldcats signed two Chaparral teammates, Cody Ippolito and Dylan Cozens. Ippolito, one of Neal's best friends, is expected to "grayshirt" because of an injury and would enroll next winter.
