At Desert View, Mountain View (3-0) and its ground game were too much for the Jaguars (0-3). The Mountain Lions rushed for 400 yards.

• Highlight reel: On the first play from scrimmage, senior running back Weston Kimmel broke free for a 44-yard touchdown run.

• Player of the game: Junior running back Richie Estrada ran for 133 yards on 13 carries. He accounted for two touchdowns.

• By the numbers: 426. The Mountain Lions had 426 total yards on 35 possessions on offense.

• He said it: "Three-and-zero is very good, but we want more. We're trying to put Mountain View back, and we are going to bring Mountain View back on top." - Estrada
