At Pueblo, the Warriors and Catalina (1-5) traded blows but a Jorge Romero 3-yard touchdown run halfway through the fourth quarter proved to be the difference in this one for Pueblo. • Highlight reel: After a Catalina fumble in the red zone, Romero took a third-down handoff 95 yards to the house to put Pueblo up 17-13 in the third quarter. Catalina led 13-10 at halftime.

• Player of the game: Romero. The sophomore running back finished the night with 289 yards rushing and three touchdowns. He also scored on a 33-yard run to open the scoring in the first quarter.

• By the numbers: 482: Pueblo and Catalina combined for 482 yards rushing.

• He said it: “It’s a good feeling. We’re finally building some chemistry and putting stuff together.” — Romero
