At Palo Verde, Sabino (3-0) scored five of its 10 touchdowns in the first quarter of its shutout of the Titans (1-2).

The Sabercats scored twice in the first minute of the game off an interception return and a 42-yard touchdown run by Cody Lloyd.

• Highlight reel: Sabino's Matt Bushman caught a touchdown over a Palo Verde player's head while keeping a foot inbounds in the second quarter.

• Player of the game: Sabino senior Lukas Miller made two interceptions and returned one for a 20-yard TD.
