At Sunnyside, an early second-half rushing assault helped propel the Blue Devils to a comeback victory in their home opener. The Blue Devils, who trailed 17-7 at halftime, scored 13 points in the third quarter by grinding out yards. In all, Sunnyside finished with 262 rushing yards.

• Highlight reel: Sunnyside RB Carlos Lara scored the game-winning TD on an elusive, 25-yard run in the third quarter.

• Player of the game: Sunnyside’s Daniel Bonn. He tallied 148 yards on the ground, including a 5-yard touchdown run in the third quarter to help cut the lead to 17-14.
