At Vista Grande, Tucson High proved too much for the Spartans to handle. The Badgers (5-1) held Vista Grande to only 65 total yards on offense and won their fifth straight game. Tucson senior quarterback Donovan Moore scored multiple touchdowns for the sixth time this season.

• Highlight reel: Tucson junior Jose Equihua intercepted Vista Grande sophomore Art Elizalde and returned it 27 yards for a touchdown to complete the scoring.

• Player of the game: Senior Elijah Anderson sparked the Badgers’ offense with two touchdowns and 200 all-purpose yards.

• By the numbers: 408. The Badgers had 408 yards of offense, including 258 yards on the ground.
