GREEN BAY, Wis. - The Green Bay Packers canceled practice Monday amid reports that starting left tackle Bryan Bulaga suffered a season-ending knee injury over the weekend.

The injury apparently happened during the team's annual family night scrimmage on Saturday.

Bulaga took all the first-team snaps at left tackle during the scrimmage and was also on the field-goal protection unit at the end of practice.

Afterward, Bulaga reportedly told trainers one of his knees was bothering him.

Broncos banged up

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. - Peyton Manning's health is no longer the big issue in Denver. Now, it's whether his offensive teammates can stay on the field with him.

Joel Dreessen, Denver's best blocking tight end, underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee Monday and is expected to miss the remainder of training camp, and Broncos right tackle Orlando Franklin limped off the field early during Monday's practice with an injured hip and did not return.

RG3 ready for more

RICHMOND, Va. - Robert Griffin III says he's "ready to move on" and take a bigger role in practice as he works his way back from knee surgery.

The Washington Redskins quarterback said Monday he's had no soreness or swelling in his right knee during the first week-and-a-half of training camp.

Coach Mike Shanahan has limited Griffin to 7-on-7 drills during camp, keeping the quarterback away from 11-on-11 sessions.

Tight end troubles

OWINGS MILLS, Md. - Baltimore tight end Ed Dickson has a slight tear in his hamstring and will be sidelined for at least a week.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh said Monday that Dickson is expected back by the first week of the regular season.

The Ravens are already thin at the tight end position after losing Dennis Pitta to a season-ending hip injury earlier in training camp.

Doucet down but not out

RENTON, Wash. - Just two seasons after being the second-leading receiver for the Arizona Cardinals, Early Doucet finds himself in a battle just to earn a roster spot with the Seattle Seahawks.

Doucet signed with the Seahawks over the weekend and stepped onto the practice field for the first time on Sunday.
