Kendall Prince and Andrea Vilarasau both shot 1-under-par 69s to share a five-way tie for third place after the UA women’s golf team  opened its season Monday at the Dale McNamara Fall Preview in Tulsa, Okla.

The juniors trail leader Julie Yang of Oklahoma State by two strokes going into today’s second round. In the team race UA (3-over 283) tied Duke for third. Oklahoma State leads at 2-under 278, followed by Oklahoma (282).

Freshman Jessica Vasilic, in her UA debut, shot a 1-over 71 and is tied with nine others for 21st.
