PHOENIX — Fourth-seeded Canyon del Oro bounced back from a lopsided loss against Ironwood Ridge to eliminate No. 8 Glendale Raymond Kellis 7-1 at Rose Mofford Sports Complex on Saturday and advance in the double-elimination portion of the softball Division II tournament.

Sophomore pitcher Gabrielle Blevins allowed only three hits, and seniors Rebecca Ziegler and Makenzie Sullivan both homered for the Dorados (25-7).

CDO will play Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. against No. 14 Marana or No. 7 Glendale Cactus.

No. 11 Phoenix Greenway 8, No. 2 Cienega 7: At Rose Mofford, Greenway rallied from a 6-2 deficit, capping its comeback with three runs in the seventh to eliminate the Bobcats.

Division III

No. 14 Benson 7, No. 6 Tanque Verde 2: At Rose Mofford, the Bobcats continued their improbable run through the playoffs, avenging a regular-season loss to Tanque Verde and sending the Hawks home. Senior Kendra Behr threw a complete game and added a two-run triple for Benson, which will play Winslow in the semis at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

No. 2 Winslow 9, No. 7 Empire 4: At Rose Mofford, the Ravens rallied twice from early deficits, but six Winslow runs in the fourth inning ultimately thwarted Empire’s upset bid and eliminated the Ravens. Junior Tazia Hernandez went 3 for 4 with a double for Empire (23-5).

Division IV

No. 2 San Manuel 9, No. 7 Desert Christian 1: At Rose Mofford, the defending champion Miners broke a tie late, scoring eight runs in the fifth and six innings to surge past Desert Christian into the semifinals. San Manuel will face No. 3 Veritas Prep at 7:30 p.m. Friday .
