At Pusch Ridge, Taylor Fitzgerald ran for 214 yards and scored three touchdowns, and Mitch Reilly added another 173 yards including a 79-yard sprint to lead the Lions (6-1) to their fifth straight win.

• Highlight reel: The Lions scored twice in just eight seconds in the fourth quarter to break open a close game. Pusch Ridge led 19-13 at halftime. The Miners failed to cover a kickoff, and the Lions pounced on it and scored on the next play with 3:11 left in the game.

• Player of the game: Fitzgerald and Reilly powered the offense after senior quarterback Jake Frithsen left the game with an injury in the second quarter.

• By the numbers: 433. The Lions ran for 433 yards.
