At Sabino, Sabercats tight end Matt Bushman caught three touchdown passes, running backs Alex Turner and Zach Joseph had two scores each, and Sabino (5-2) pulled away early from Catalina (1-6). The Sabercats defense was excellent all night, holding Catalina to 62 yards of total offense.

• Highlight reel: Bushman got behind the defense and scored on a 63-yard pass from Emilio Araiza early in the first quarter.

• Player of the game: Araiza. He was efficient, completing 6 of 7 passes for 151 yards and three touchdowns, all in the first half.

• By the numbers: 65. Catalina quarterback Jeremiah Wilcoxen threw a 65-yard touchdown to Marquise Moore on the last play of the game.
