At Rincon, the visiting Lancers (7-0) took control from the start and beat the winless Rangers (0-7). Senior wide receiver Kaelin Deboskie accounted for four touchdowns, and the Salpointe defense caused three turnovers .

• Highlight reel: Salpointe athlete and Arizona Wildcats verbal commit Cameron Denson made two defenders miss on a 74-yard run in the first quarter for a touchdown.

• Player of the game: Deboskie. The speedy Salpointe two-way star had an interception, punt return and two receptions for touchdowns.

• By the numbers: -3. The Rincon offense was held to minus-3 total yards, thanks to a Lancer defense that has held opponents to an average of 5.29 points a game.
