At Tucson, Badgers quarterback Donovan Moore rushed for 262 yards and three touchdowns to help surging Tucson (4-1) fly past Mesa. The Badgers defense controlled the tempo most of the night, causing two turnovers, including a 73-yard INT.

• Highlight reel: After a goal-line stop on fourth down, Moore took the QB keeper 98 yards to the house to put the game well out of reach.

• Player of the game: Moore rushed for 262 yards on just eight carries and added 69 yards in the air for a total of 331 yards in the game.

• By the numbers: 2.91: The Badgers defense limited Mesa to just 2.91 yards per carry. (58 carries for 169 yards)

• He said it: “It doesn’t really matter what they run on defense, as long as we execute our plays.” — Moore.
