At Palo Verde, the Titans (2-0) gave Todd Mayfield a win in his first home game back as coach. Senior running back Joe Lewis accounted for 207 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Titans in a close win over Catalina.

• Highlight reel: Catalina quarterback Marquise Moore shifted to wide receiver and caught a 34-yard pass on the last play before halftime.

• Player of the game: Lewis. The senior running back was all over the field, accounting for three touchdowns on the ground and one through the air.

• By the numbers: 197. Catalina running back Demarco Grayson accounted for 197 yards and two touchdowns in the defeat.
