Southern Arizona crowned four state champions on Saturday at the individual tennis tournament, and that was just the beginning.

Baseball, softball and tennis teams continue their state tournaments and boys volleyball teams join the action Saturday. Here's a look at what to watch:

Baseball: After splitting their two meetings in the regular season, Catalina Foothills and Sahuaro will meet again in a win-or-go-home Division II game at 4 p.m.

The fourth-ranked Cougars had a first-round bye while No. 13 Foothills cruised past Bullhead City Mohave on Saturday. The game at Sahuaro will feature two of the top players in the state with the Cougars' Alex Verdugo and Foothills' Luis Gonzalez.

Softball: No. 15 Tucson will travel to second-seeded and undefeated Cienega for a Division I game at 4 p.m. in search of its fifth win in the last six games.

The Badgers are fresh off a 17-6 win against Yuma Cibola in the first round, but they lost to Cienega twice this season, with the most recent defeat coming last week. The 9-7 decision was the closest margin for the Bobcats in their last five games.

Girls tennis: No. 13 Sabino will be looking for its second upset in as many weeks when it travels to No. 5 Ironwood Ridge for a noon second-round match.

The Sabercats beat No. 4 Phoenix Washington in the first round of the Division II state tournament last week but will have a tough test when they face the defending state champions led by senior Sara Brown, who is fresh off winning a singles state title Saturday.

Boys volleyball: Catalina Foothills travels to Rincon/University at 6 p.m. to close out the regular season. Both teams are locked into the state tournament but the winner will likely earn a first-round bye.

The seedings will be announced Thursday at 2:30 p.m. and the first two rounds of the state tournament are Saturday.

Tournaments: The baseball, softball and tennis state tourneys will all be in the Phoenix area at this point. To catch the action, plan on hitting the road early to beat the traffic.
