For the first time in 20 years, Tucson Arena will host an NHL preseason game.

The Coyotes will face the Ducks in Tucson on Sept. 25, the clubs announced Wednesday. The puck will drop at 7 p.m.

Tucson is home to the Roadrunners, the Coyotes top minor-league affiliate. The Coyotes played here last fall, but only as part of a "Red and White" intrasquad game.

"We're excited to play an NHL preseason game at Tucson Arena," Coyotes general manager John Chayka said. "We were thrilled with the tremendous support the Roadrunners received last season and our players are looking forward to playing in this game in front of all of our great fans in Tucson."

Fans can buy tickets by calling the Roadrunners at 1-866-774-6253.
